Bazz Fuzz Effect Pedal. This is perhaps the simplest guitar effect pedal circuit, a Fuzz Box from a transistor, a diode and two capacitors. However, gives surprising good results. This shows the end product (became a test of my new 3D printer/software as well!). Check out the Video Section below to hear the pedal output.

The ColorSound™ Bass Fuzz is similar in design to the ColorSound™ Jumbo ToneBender™, but tuned more to bass tones. This is built on the same PCB as the Supa ToneBender and the Jumbo ToneBender. The circuit is deceptively simple: two transistors, four resistors, three capacitors and two pots. But huge variations in transistor parameters and sensitivity to component choice make all the difference between an exceptional and bland fuzz build.

You can sag the voltage to dial in the sweet spot for fuzz. I found around 4 volts to sound very nice. Remove the diode to go from fuzz to dirty boost. You could also wire the diode using a switch to easily change between both modes. 10K Q1 2N5088 E C B R1 10KΩ C1 10uf 9 volts + Input Output D1 1N4148 C2 10uf 2N5088 e c b 1N4148 10uf + 10uf.

Now then, hope you are having a great day. Today we are building a Bazzfuss. One of the simplest fuzz circuits of all time but also one great sounding pedal!.

Take a Colorsound Jumbo Tonebender (Fuzz A) schematic, double the values of the coupling/feedback capacitors and that´s basically what it´s all about. Tone-control section appears to be the same, but must be verified - missing two resistor values, probably 33k. analogguru. There´s a sucker born every minute - and too many of them end up in.

Christian H. His circuit, known is called the Bazz Fuss because it was originally conceived as a bass effect. Here is a terrific article on the circuit from home-wrecker.com, a cool DIY site. I wound up departing a bit from the original, and you should too. In fact, the main goal of this project (beside building a cool pedal) is learning

The Mastodon Bass Fuzz is a powerful and versatile fuzz pedal that is specifically designed for bass but can also be used with guitars. It is inspired by the Mastotron, another popular fuzz pedal, but offers more control options. One of the key features of the Mastodon Bass Fuzz is the Relax/Push knob, which allows you to adjust the input impedance.

By Sweetwater on Sep 13, 2023, 8:00 AM Let's be honest: bass fuzz sometimes gets a bad reputation, and if you're not sure what types of tone you're after, how to refine your sound, or where to place your fuzz pedal in your signal chain, then don't worry — we've got you covered! It's far too common for bassists to abandon the idea altogether.
